An example of a kit: This Help from Home kit has a paper punch, card stock, punched out unglued envelopes, adapted glue stick, a matching grid and an adapted roller.  The participant will fold, roll and glue envelopes, punch shapes to match the grid and put them in the envelope.  The envelopes will then be returned to ConnectUS for the next steps of finishing the ‘Thinking of You’ cards which are sent to local group homes, nursing home residents and to veterans in hospice care.

ConnectUS is a 501(c)(3) organization providing quality programming for individuals with severe multiple disabilities at no charge to participants or their families. Programing uses adaptive equipment that enables even the most severely challenged individuals to participate in productive activities. Completed projects are donated to other local nonprofits creating a community of collaboration!
